Basic HTML Tags - Page 8

How to make display a photo on a web page.

The img (image) tag is used to make photos be displayed
on a web page. For best results, photo files should be saved
in the JPEG format which uses the .jpg file extension.
In this particular example, the img tag is placed within
a different tr and td tag than the text (there are other ways). The td
will use the align=center attribute in order to make the caption
above the photo aligned in the center.
<html> <head> <title>Page 8</title> </head> <body> <center> <font size=6 color=red>A Sample Web Page</font> <table><tr><td align=center> <font size=4>An Example of a Photo Displayed on a Web Page.</font><br> <img src="kay3.jpg"><br><br><br><br><br></td></tr> <tr><td><font size=2 color=blue>This is an example of text placed on a web page.</font> <br> <font size=3 color=green>The quick brown fox jumped over the <br>lazy dog's back 0123456789 times.</font> <br> <font size=4 color=black>That sentence is one used many years ago <br>by teletype repairmen to test <br> their machines because it uses all 26 <br>letters of the alphabet and all 10 digits.</font> </td></tr></table> </center> </body> </html>
