| 1. Stud fee paid upon arrival of
mare, a Breeding Certificate will be mailed when the check has been cleared
with the mare care plus any added charges as in medical care or vet if
needed, or if paid in cash on the day the mare is picked up.
2.
Helterbrand Foxtrotters agrees to boarding, feed, and general care/stallion
service at the prices
agreed upon in this contract.
3. Any
board, farrier, veterinary, and or expenses during the stay at Helterbrand
Foxtrotters will be
billed for and paid at the time mare is picked
up.
4. Owner gives consent to Helterbrand Foxtrotters to
provide/procedure emergency veterinary care if needed. No elective
procedures will be conducted with out owners consent. Owner further more
agrees to hold Helterbrand Foxtrotters at NO fault from any claims resulting
from damages or injury caused by or to owner's mare and or foal. Owner
assumes all risk of loss or damage to the horse(s) and should insure against
same.
5. Owner must present a current health certificate, Coggins
certificated and proof of clean culture,
and states, by signature
that mare is in good physical condition, free of disease and infection.
6. Breeding to the stallion stated is with a Live Foal Guarantee. If the
mare does not settle, she
may be brought back for additional
breeding during the current breeding year. If we breed your mare twice, and
she doesn't conceive, we may ask you to see your vet, to make sure she is
reproductively sound. If the mare does not carry to term, or that the foal
dies at birth the stud fee will be applied to the next breeding year.
However, board, veterinary and any additional care expenses if any, will be
billed to the owner for each farm visit.
7. All mares must have back
shoes removed.
8. If mare kicks, bites, or does something else; we
should be notified ahead of time please.
