Originally from the Rockland County area of N.Y. Bart Meola, was one of the best, with exceptional guitar and vocal skills.  Bart played in many groups through out the years, some of which are shown below.  The longest running was Hit "N" Run, consisting of Bart, Bobby Howe, and Gregg Hollister, which later became "Anthem" and went on to record The Caboose album, under the Budda Labal.  There was also a road band with four members, (shown below).  These four musicians raised Hell up and down the Jersey shore during the summer months, and could be found in the Rockland, Bergan, and Manhatten area, the rest of the time.  Bart played his last gig on Dec 31, 1995, he passed shortly after, on Jan 3, 1996, in his mid forty's.  He is surely missed by many.
