Pastor Ed and Sister Nancy Fields

Pastor Ed Fields, who started in the ministry in 1992, has been pastor of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Rolla since the Fall of 2000. He has also served as pastor in Salem, Missouri and assistant pastor in Cuba, Missouri, both in Free Will Baptist churches. In preparation for his ministerial duties, Pastor Ed took classes from Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College, in Oklahoma.

Pastor Ed and his lovely wife Nancy were married in 1969 and have one son, Russell, and his wife, Marcia. Pastor Ed is from Missouri, but lived in Maryland for 12 years where he met Nancy while in the army. He retired from civil service after 25 years of civilian service with The Department of Defense at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, to go into full-time ministry in 1995.

Pastor Ed currently serves as a volunteer chaplain at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, in Rolla, and enjoys being of service to the patients and staff. Sister Nancy works for The Department of Mental Health in Rolla as the assistant to the assistant director. Both Pastor Ed and Sister Nancy love serving the Lord and the congregation of the FFWBC of Rolla. They extend a warm welcome to all in the area to come and be a part of our family in The Lord.

Our Mission

Our mission comes straight from God:  "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."         Matthew 28:19-20a

We strive to do all we can to present God's Word in an accurate and exciting way to inspire all who hear it to put their trust in God.
