Issue 14-- A Short Update
Due to some problems I had with delays
in the newsletter this month, it's very short. Some articles fell
through for the time being, but i wanted to get out an update anyway.
Hopefully I will get out something more next month.
Current News
The release of "Pacifico" has been
put off another month. "It will be released now in Januaury as we
are having some technical delays that are taking longer than originally
planned," said Eric. It will be for sale for $13 which includes postage
and handling. Cash/Check/Money order made out to Eric Campuzano.
Mail to: 235 Doverfield, Placentia, CA 92870. You will be updated
about further information. If you have any other question you
can email the band at
theLASSIEf@aol.com and they will get
back to you.
The band has already begun another project. Jeff Schroeder talks a little about what is happening. "As of right now, the Lassie Foundation is starting on the follow up to the "Pacifico" record. We have a couple songs completed and we have the skeletons for a few more. We plan on taking the rest of November and all of December and January to write and record some new songs. So far, everything is sounding real cool and is making "Pacifico" sound like it was done by some inexperienced bar band."
Frank Lenz has commented on a possible Northern California tour in January, but due to the plans for the new album, this may be postponed.
